The Nelson Minor Hockey Atom A squad made it look easy en route to capturing the top prize at the recent tournament in Kimberley.
The players combined solid team work with determination to capture the first-place trophy with wins over Blackfoot (Calgary), Indus (Calgary), host Kimberley and Cranbrook.
Staff at Mallard’s Source for sports would like to add to the celebrations with Team of the Week honours.
The team includes, coaches Sandy Boyd, Greg Andrusak, Craig Upper, Lisa Upper, Geoff Watts, Devan Andrusak, Seamus Boyd, Koby Upper, Ethan Bennett, Drake Proctor, Jamie Popoff-Hnatiuk, Mason Ouchi, Sam Orasuk, Alexander Andersen, Simon Forrester, Dylan Watts, Rhett Hamilton, Bryce Sookro, Logan Krotz (Relief Goalie from Cranbrook) and Ben Haydu.
