When: Sunday, September 28th 10 a.m. -1 p.m.
Where: Rendezvous at the Argenta boat launch — 4.3 kilometers south from intersection of Duncan Lake Road and Argenta Johnsons Landing Road.
Take action against shoreline garbage by joining us on (Sunday) September 28th for the Top of the Lake Shoreline Clean-Up event. The plan is to meet at the Argenta boat launch at 10am and start cleaning up the shoreline. Bring your boots and work gloves.
There will also be a BBQ and refreshments on the beach to fuel the volunteers!
“Although this is quite a pristine area, there is a lot of garbage along
the shoreline at the north end of Kootenay Lake,” said Claire de la Salle – Friends of Kootenay Lake Program Manager.
“This event will be a great opportunity for community members to help the environment and socialize by the lakeshore.”
