The Kootenay Rhythm Dragons —Ladies of The Wake grab third in Vernon

The Kootenay Rhythm Dragons continue to pull in the hardware after the crew took third place at the Vernon Dragon Boat Races Saturday in the Central Okanagan City.
The Rhythm Dragons Ladies of The Wake captured third overal in the A Women’s Final.
“Once more the KRD grouping of Sisters in Sync and Ladies of the Lake Team proved a winner,” said Coach Cath Little.
“Great season for the Kootenay Rhythm Dragons.”
The Kootenay The Rhythm Dragons Ladies of The Wake has four paddlers from the Sisters In Sync on the team for the Vernon meet.
The Kootenay Rhythm Dragon also won First Place in the Women’s Championship “B” Division at the Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival.
Next up on the season schedule is the races in Penticton, September 5-7.
The Kootenay Rhythm Dragons will be sending two teams to the Penticton competition.
