The Secret Garden — Capitol Youth Summer Theatre at its best

Thirty-two students between the ages of 12 to 18 years took to the Capitol Theatre stage Thursday for opening night in the Capitol Theatre Summer Youth Musical production of the timeless classic, The Secret Garden.

The Capitol Theatre Summer Youth Program is in its 26thyear this year under the guidance in 2014 of  former drama teacher at LV Rogers and principal at Trafalgar Geoff Burns.

Burns is joined by musical director Allison Girvan, who has been part of it for almost 20 of those years choreographer Lynnette Lightfoot.

The Nelson Daily stopped by for a few photos of the play.
