Hannah Jarvis-Lingard sizzled as Roxie.

Jeff Forst was amazing as the character Billy.

Louis Butterfield’s character was another stunner.

And what can you say about the performance of Sydney Black.

This all happened during the dress rehearsal for Black Productions Chicago at the Capitol Theatre in Nelson.

Chicago, set in the prohibition-era and featuring some amazing Broadway music, is a story of ambition, celebrity and the seductive power of the spotlight.

Following on the heels of the successful Cabaret in 2013, Chicago, is a lighter, cheekier and more extravagant and glitzy stage production.

The show, directed by Lisel Forst with musical direction from Allison Girvan and choreography by Mackenzie Hope, opens Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Capitol Theatre, with evening performances Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There are also two matinees Saturday and Sunday.
