Selkirk College Grad Ceremony

The Selkirk College Graduation 2014 Ceremony was held recently at the Castlegar Campus.
With a graduating class of more than 750, almost 300 students donned the gowns to take a walk across the stage to receive their certificate or diploma in a variety of different programs.
The ceremony included speeches and the awarding of the Distinguished Educator and Distinguished Alumni. This year’s Distinguished Educator Award went to Forest Technology Program pioneer John Adams and the Distinguished Alumni Award went to Nelson’s Eric MacFarlane.
The Class of 2014 Valedictorian was Plant Operator Program student Hart Joron.
