He decided to try his hand at small business at the ripe old age of 22 years when Dale Donaldson first opened Mallard’s Source for sports in Castlegar.
Thirty years later, and with two stores including the one in the 500 Block of Baker Street in Nelson, Dale Donaldson and Mallard’s Source for sports is still going strong.
Staff at The Nelson Daily decided to take the judging for balloting out of the hands of the local Team of the Week sponsor to recognize Mallard’s Source for sports staff for this week’s Mallard’s Source for sports Team of the Week honours.
After recently celebrating the 30 year anniversary, the local business remains stronger than ever.
So we salute the crew at Mallard’s Source for sports Nelson branch with the prestigious honour.
The Mallard’s Source for sports Nelson staff includes, back row, Mike Balance, front, Kyle Boutette, Shawn Badger, Kylie Thelker and, of course, the man himself, owner/operator Dale Donaldson.
