Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Killjoys

The defending Golden Boot champion, Nelson Killjoys begin quest for back-to-back titles Saturday as the 2014 West Kootenay Roller Derby season commences with doubleheader action at the at Selkirk College gymnasium in Castlegar.
The Nelson Killjoys are out to prove last season’s title was no fluke as the Heritage City squad takes on rival Rossland Trail Roller Girls (RTRG) at 7 p.m. in the feature match.
Kicking off the season is host Dam City Rollers meeetinga yet-unseen Valley Brutality at 5 p.m.
Staff at Mallards want to salute the Killjoys with Team of the Week honours. Members of the Killjoys roster for Saturday’s opening tilt include (in no specific order) Lil’Miss Hell N Back 80, Jezebrawler 79, Skid Licious 121, Buttermilk 82, Meg A Blast 209, Kerowhack 225, McWrath 360, Concrete Cindy 4, Shove 40, Li’l Squirt 942, D.O. Ava 123, Slay Guevara 1976 and Oso Agro 006. Killjoy coaches are K Boss and Sly.
