Mallard's Team of the Week — Kootenay Lake BC Family Day Fishing Derby

Hector Sandoval of Creston came away the big winner, netting a cool $10,000 for his catch in the Kootenay Lake BC Family Day Fishing Derby.
But everyone was a winner as the event was deemed a tremendous success.
Mallard’s Source for sports wants to add to the celebrations by selecting the winners Team of the Week.
The winning team of individuals includes, from left, second place in Rainbow Trout, David Jamieson with a 16.5 pound Rainbow; top prize champ Hector Sandoval with an 18-pound (34-5/8 inches) Rainbow Trout; John York, third place in the Dolly Varden category; Bruce McIntosh of Genelle first, grabbing the $2,000 in the Dolly competition with a 14-pound Dolly; Dolly Second place to Kirk Daley; and Rick Carlson third in the Rainbow category.
