Excitement builds for Nelson Youth Theatre in 2014

Nelson Youth Theatre is rolling out a couple of options for young actors interested in performing in 2014.

The first option is Why is Y program. This original play, about the letters of the alphabet trying to get along, is for actors around age seven to 12.

Rehearsals are set for Thursday from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The second option has already commenced rehearsals.

Nelson Youth Theatre (NYT) is a musical for actors age 13-16 years who will be the supporting and chorus roles in the mostly-cast production.

Rehearsals are held Tuesday and/or Friday from 4-6 p.m.

Both plays, performed at the Capitol Theatre in April, will rehearse at the Civic Theatre and begin in January and wrap in April.
