Due to the busyness of everyday life for so many people, the West Kootenay Toy Run has a shortfall of available people to help with the great events and raffle  that our group puts on every year.

The annual event raises more than $30,000 every year, along with hundreds of toys, all for local underprivileged children and families.

However, the event could come to an end if there isn’t an influx of volunteers.

The Toy Run helds its annual general meeting Sunday.

However, more help is needed.

Remember, the West Kootenay Toy Run raises money for Food Banks, Christmas Hampers, Youth Centres, Women Shelters, Bursaries,  Childcare Centres, and more!

Let’s not see it end.
