Frito Lay helps Salvation Army with $1000 donation
The Salvation Army is grateful for a friend in deed.
Desperately in need of donations during the busy Christmas season, The Salvation Army received a substantial donation Friday when Rich Nelson of Frito Lay Canada Friday.
The donation of $1000 came in a combined effort from Frito Lay Canada, Real Canadian Wholesale Club, WalMart, Safeway, 7-11, Balfour Superette and Save On Foods.

The Nelson Salvation Army is currently in its busiest fundraising month.
As well as accepting donations of food and toys, the Nelson Salvation Army has its Kettle Drive going an several locations in Nelson where the public can donate cash to support the Food Bank as well as other programs.
