Each year, volunteers from Salmo and Ymir host a free Christmas dinner bringing together members of their communities.

It’s a time for food, fellowship and getting to know your neighbour while providing an opportunity for families, seniors and other residents to enjoy a special meal they might not otherwise be able to.

Columbia Power has provided $750 in support of this event, which takes place on Sunday, December 8 at the Salmo Legion.

Andre Noel, Salmo resident and Health and Safety Manager for Columbia Power, and two of Salmo’s youngest citizens, are pictured with dinner organizer Mavis Stachurski.
