Nelson Sports Council salutes Sports Day Canada

The fourth annual Sports Day Canada is happening across the country again Saturday (November 30).

And the Nelson Sports Council is joining in for its second annual version at the Nelson and District Community Complex from 2-5 p.m.

The first NSC Sports Day took place in September 2012.

Local sport clubs are showcasing their sports in booths and with demonstrations.

Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Rhythm Ropers are all providing short programs and are welcoming anyone who cares to give it try.

Many other sport groups will be in attendance to offer information and encouragement.

The event is free.
 
The NDCC is offering Loonie (child), and Toonie (adult) fees for the full facility from 3-4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Complimentary skate rentals are also available.

Friday, is set aside for Jersey Day.
