Ski swaps this weekend at Rod & Gun Club and Hume School

For all downhill skiers, boarders and cross country enthusiasts, this weekend is the first day of winter.
That’s when the Whitewater Ski Team and Nelson Nordic Ski Club host the annual Ski Swaps.
The Nordic skiers get the weekend started off on the right ski with the annual cross country ski swap Satruday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Nelson Rod and Gun Club.
There will be plenty of skis, boots, poles and clothing up for grabs.
Sunday the scene shifts to the downhill as the Whitewater Ski Team hosts its annual Ski Swap on Sunday (November 3) at Hume School.
Doors open from 12:30-3 p.m.
This is a major fundraiser for the Whitewater ski team and the effort put in by the volunteers is herculean.
The deals are incredible.
Sellers can arrive between 9-11 a.m.
