The Nelson Leafs get an up close look the Eddie Mountain Division when Columbia Valley Rockies and Kimberley Dynamiters visit the NDCC Arena for a pair of Kootenay International Junior Hockey League Kootenay Conference games.

Third-place Columbia Valley, 2-2-2-1, enters the Friday contest coming off a 3-2 loss to Spokane Braves.

Ryan Henderson, 19, leads the Rockies, with eight goals in seven games.

Kimberley Dynamiters, Saturday’s opponent, have yet to lose in six games — the only blemish a 2-2 draw against Columbia Valley.

Kimberley native Jared Marchi tops the Nitros with nine points in six games.

Kimberley, 5-0-1, tops the Eddie Mountain Division with 11 points.

In contrast, Nelson, undefeated in five games, has two players — Chris Vlanich and Travis Wellman — in the top ten in KIJHL scoring.

Puck drop for both games is 7 p.m.
