Raising the Curtain night raises more than $20,000

It was a sellout crowd at the Raising the Curtain for Pat & Maia live show and auction at the Capitol Theatre Wednesday (July 31).
Thanks to Nelsonites once again rallying around friends in need, the evening raised close to $23,000.
The money will go to helping Nelson residents Pat Henman and daughter Maia Vezina recuperate from a horrific car accident in June.
Before the evening concluded, the crowd gave a big (see photo) get-well gesture to Pat and Maia who were watching the evening on a video feed.
