NYS sends large contingent of teams into provincial battle

Nelson Youth Soccer is sending a swarm of soccer teams to Provincial B Cup action beginning Thursday in North Vancouver and Prince George.
Nelson Select teams in the U14, U15 and U16 Girl’s Divisions will be at Inter River Park in North Vancouver to begin medal quest Thursday.
Meanwhile, in Prince George at Rotary and Glen Thomson Soccer Fields, Nelson is represented by no less than four teams — U13, U14, U16 and U17 — at the

Action at both tournaments begin Thursday in round robin competition.
Preliminary round continues Friday and Saturday before the top teams advance to the medal round Sunday.
