LVR Grad week kicks off Tuesday with Talent Show

It’s Grad 2013 week at L.V. Rogers High School in Nelson.
The festivities kick off Tuesday (June 4) in the Capitol Theatre with the Talent Show.
Grads will be showcasing their talents on stage beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets, available at the door, for this fundraiser to help defer costs during the annual extravaganza are $15 for adults and $12 for students and children.
Friday the Cap and Gown Ceremony goes at the Nelson and District Community Complex Arena beginnig at 6:45 p.m.
Speeches from the LVR Valedictorian along with other dignitaries highlight the evening before scholarships from businesses and groups are awarded to the graduating students.
Saturday, the Grand March and Cavalcade highlights the day.
Grand March is also scheduled for the NDCC Arena, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Following the Grand March at 4 p.m., rain or shine, is the Cavalcade winding through the streets of Nelson.
The Cavalcade begins from the NDCC parking lot.
The ceremonies conclude with the 2013 Grad Promenade at the Prestige Inn Lakeside Resort.
