Fire damages CP Rail bridge near Revelstoke

A CP Rail bridge near Revelstoke is closed after fire ripped through the structure Saturday evening.
The fire started around 7 p.m.
It is believed the fire damaged about a third of the bridge which spans the Columbia River.
Canadian Pacific Railway said the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage is still unknown at this time.
The bridge is closed until crews can assess the damage.
