Something happened to the Old Boys FC on the way to the Nelson Ford Men’s Open Indoor Soccer Championship — which proved to be music to the L.V. Rogers No. 2 squad.
The Old Boys FC, early favourites to win the playoff title after going through the regular season undefeated, lost out in the semi finals opening the door for LVR No. 2 to defeat Net Predators 4-2 in the final to clinch the Nelson Ford Men’s Open Indoor Soccer Championship.
Staff at Mallard’s Source for Sports want to add to the celebration with Team of the Week honours.
The team includes, from left, keeper Jeremy Phelan, Lucas Spielman, Shota Ida, Dylan Bennett, Simon Sheppard, Ethan Perkins, James Millar and Ryan Lewis.
