Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Figure Skaters

The competition is the largest on the local scene of the season . . . and it’s right here in Nelson.
The Nelson Figure Skating Club is rolling out the red carpet to skaters from across the zone as the Heritage City squad plays host to the West Kootenay Championships beginning Friday at the NDCC Arena.
All season long the skaters have been preparing for this major competition and staff at Mallard’s Source for Sports would like honour the local contingent with Team of the Week.
The Nelson Figure skating team includes, back row, L-R, Isabella Kroker Kimber, Courtney Shrieves, Charly Defouw, Angelica Ross and coach Sarah Gower.
Front, Tao Measures, Helena Keating, Lila McKecknie, Leo Measures, Aurora Pank-Dool and Morgan Sabo.
Missing: Christina Champlin, Mallory Pinske, Breanna Tomlin and Shaen Panko-Dool.
Action begins Friday and continues through Sunday afternoon.
