Bellydance classes great New Year resolution
Soul Fire Dance is back bringing the art of dance to the public with its winter program.
Monday nights will be full of great dance conditioning and bellydance fundamentals, followed by a fun, folkloric style cane dance.
The winter sessions runs Mondays beginning January 7 until March 4.
The Thrills and Drills class runs from 6:30-7:45 p.m. and is an exciting class is integral for bellydance conditioning, fundamental moves and essential techniques with a focus on grace, strength and
fluidity, this class offers a great introduction for beginners and core strengthening and layering techniques for experienced students.
Each class adds new movement combinations to build into choreography.
Right after is the Raks Assaya(Cane Dance) until 9 p.m.
This folkloric cane dance originates from the Saidi culture of Upper Egypt. This modern choreography brings contemporary flair to this
exceptionally fun style of bellydance.
Students will graduate with a practice dvd and performance opportunities. Additional cane fee.
