BC Coroners Service identifies young girl kills in snowmobile incident

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a girl who died as a result of a snowmobile incident near Coquihalla Lakes Lodge on (Friday) December 30 as Billie Brittany Bell, aged 16, from Chilliwack.

Bell was operating a snowmobile when she lost control of the vehicle and sustained significant injuries.

Bell was airlifted from the scene of the incident to Royal Columbian Hospital where she was unable to recover from her injuries.

The Coroners Service continues to investigate this death.
