Police on hunt for gas station robber

On October 11, 2012 at approximately 10:50 p.m. the Chilliwack RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery that had just taken place at the Esso gas station at 45571 Yale Road.

The RCMP have pursued several investigative avenues and are now asking for the assistance of the public.

The male suspect entered the gas station with a knife demanding money from the clerk and made off with an undisclosed amount of goods.

The Lower Mainland District Integrated Police Dog Service was called and tracked to an address on Yale Road where the track ended.

“We are looking for anyone who may have information regarding this crime to come forward and speak to us,” said Cst. Tracy Wolbeck.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build.
