ArtWalk kicks off 24th season in grand style

Friday was electric in Nelson as the 24th annual ArtWalk kicked off at various businesses in the Heritage City.
Nelson’s ArtWalk offers area artists the opportunity to have their work viewed by more than a thousand art-lovers while giving downtown businesses a doorway into creative culture — a veritable feast for the ArtWalking public.
Some of the stops included Craft Connection, Grounded and John Ward Coffee House, The Kootenay Bakery and Kutenia Clothing Co., Habits, Touchstones, B.C Wine Guys, L Boutique – Trillium Soaps and Candels, The Royal Bar, Nelson Credit Union, Kolmel Jewellers and the Royal and Bank of Montreal to name a few.
The ArtWalk features more than 20 local artists.
ArtWalk continues through the summer.
