Novice kids put on great show during intermission at Nelson Leafs/Castlegar Rebels game

There’s more to Nelson Leafs hockey games than just hockey.
Between periods the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League franchise does its best to keep the fans entertained.
There’s figure skaters, shooting contests and, of course, bingo.
Friday the novice players from Nelson Minor Hockey kept the spectators entertained during the first-period intermission.
The Nelson Daily photographer Bruce Fuhr was also entertained and took a few snaps of the future stars.
By the looks of the pics, the Leafs have a bright future.
