Mallard's Team of the Week — LVR Rec Leadership

The LVR Recreational Leadership made a lot of families in Nelson very happy.
The class raised close to $2,000 during a Christmas Fundraiser in early December held at the Fairview school.
The event, initiated by Grade 12 Leadership student, Taryn Scarff allowed th class to present the Nelson Community Services with a cheque for $1,000 as well as purchase clothes, toys, and blankets for the Nelson Transition House.
The class also bought seven people presents from the wish tree at Kootenai Moon.
Staff at Mallard’s Source for Sports would like to salute the class with Team of the Week accolades.
