Montgomery withdraws from Area F (North Shore) race

It’s a two horse race for the directorship of Area F on the North Shore.
The Regional District of Central Kootenay elections office has sent out notice of Bruce Montgomery’s withdrawal from the election.
His exit leaves incumbent Ron Mickel and Mike Keegan — who is the Nelson Road Kings’ president — as the only candidates voters will have to choose from on Nov. 19.
No reason was given as to Montgomery’s departure.
