Valley author Talbot's book nominated in Banff book competition

Slocan Valley (Winlaw) author Margo Talbot’s memoir All That Glitters- A Climbers Journey Through Addiction and Depression (SoNoNis Press) has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Banff Mountain Book Competition.
Twenty three finalists were selected from 106 entries from 11 countries. The awards in each category (Mountain and Wilderness Literature in Margo’s case) are determined by an international jury and will be presented on Thursday, Nov. 3 at The Banff Mountain Film & Book Festival.
