Official Community Plan amendment bylaw No. 3218
The Corporation of the City of Nelson proposes to amend the City of Nelson Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 3114, 2008.
The purpose of the Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 3218 is to incorporate targets and objectives for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions within the City of Nelson as required under section 877 of the Local Government Act.
The amending bylaw may be inspected at the office of the Manager of Legislative and Administrative Services, City Hall, Second Floor 310 Ward Street, Nelson from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday inclusive with the exception of statutory holidays from the date of this notice until Nov. 7.
Nelson City council will hold a public hearing thereon on Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m., for the proposed amendment, in the council chambers at which time and place all persons who deem their interest in property affected by the amending bylaw may be heard on matters contained therein.
