New concrete skatepark design to be unveiled in open meeting

To catch a glimpse of the unveiling of Nelson’s new concrete skatepark design, head down on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 7 p.m. to the Hume Hotel for an open meeting hosted by the Kootenay Lake Outdoor Skatepark Society.
Preliminary concept renderings will be presented by designers from New Line Skateparks and van der Zalm and associates for further discussion and refinement.
People can check out the new design and offer input on the design.
Tribute and Yes snowboard will also be raffling off an autographed Yes snowboard.
