Ellison’s Café Unplugged Sessions

Opening at noon is Spoon Castro, a young new singer/songwriter to the Unplugged Sessions, performing on guitar.
Next is Mountain Station, featuring fiddler Paul Holitzki, guitarist Billy Jones, mandolinist Roger Luckey and banjoist Steve Garth both doubling on dobro, all supported by David Feldman’s driving upright bass.
They will perform a wide range of music including bluegrass, sweet ballads, Irish jigs and reels.
Closing is Mara Sand and Grant Freeman, performing some light jazz, blues, R and B covers and originals by Mara.
Grant teaches music in Fruitvale, currently plays keyboards with Trail’s 18-piece dance band Swingsations.
