Water conservation measures now in place for South Slocan water users

The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) has issued a ‘Stage 3’ level of water conservation measures for South Slocan water users due to a limited water supply.

Please adhere to the following restrictions:

  • No watering of lawns is permitted.
  • Hand watering of gardens, trees, and shrubs is permitted for a maximum of 2 hours per day: this must done either in the morning (7am-9am) or evening (6pm-8pm).


The RDCK appreciates your compliance with the water conservation measures. We will notify residences when the notice has been rescinded.
