Mallard's Team of the Week — Kootenay Thunder

The Kootenay Thunder did not disappoint skipper Dave Spendlove, advancing to the Silver Flight Final before dropping a 1-0 loss to the W.A.F.C. Vipers from Washington at the recent Mt. Hood Nike Challenge in Portland, Ore.
Kootenay, finishing the Showcase Tournament with a 2-2 mark, advanced to the final with a convincing 4-0 decision over F.C. Ellensburg.
Andrea Stinson scored twice while Hailey McLean and Morag Paterson added singles.
