Fluid spill slows traffic at major Nelson intersection during rush hour
A fuel line came loose from a pick up truck on Front Street Thursday afternoon, spilling fuel and causing police and fire department to close down one lane of traffic.
Around 4 p.m. a large spill of bio diesel from the truck onto the pavement at the intersection of Front and Hall street shut one of the city’s busiest corners during the busiest part of the day.
Nelson Fire Rescue managed to clean up the spill with no damage. The vehicle was towed and received a mechanical inspection order.
