KLSA Nelson Sailing Regatta
West Arm of Kootenay Lake, July 9-10
On July 9-10 the KLSA (Kootenay Lake Sailing Association) is sponsoring the Nelson Sailing Regatta to be held in front of the Prestige Hotel (on the water of course).
KLSA encourages all experienced and new sailors to take part in this event. There will be several divisions within the racing fleet, including a dinghy class and white sail division (divisions are subject to change depending on how many boats are entered to race).
A notice of race will be posted soon. There is an entry fee for the racing.
On Saturday July 9 a dinner (the Hume’s famous “all you can eat” Italian feast) will be held for all participants and family, at the Hume Hotel at 6 pm (there is a fee for dinner).
Door prizes, games, fun and silliness will prevail. The theme for this event is the pirates of the Kootenays so please dress appropriately. Pirate language is definitely encouraged.

- Race entry fee: $50. If membership is paid in full ($99) then entry fee is waived.
- Dinner fee: adults, $19.99, kids-5-10, $11, under five free.
