Woman plans to sue RCMP over wrongful grow operation bust
With no charges being faced by a Pass Creek woman for her licenced medical marijuana grow-op, the woman says she now plans to sue the RCMP for busting the operation in March, the CBC reports.
With a Health Canada licence to grow 98 marijuana plants on property owned by Velma Mullaney, 62, and her partner between Nelson and Castlegar, Mullaney said officers refused to look at her permit or count the plants when they raided and ripped out her plants in March.
