Province's premier wins narrow victory in Vancouver-Point Grey riding
Christy Clark is in the provincial legislature.
The province’s premier won a narrow victory Wednesday night over B.C. NDP candidate David Eby in the riding of Vancouver-Point Grey.
The riding was previously held by former premier Gordon Campbell.
Campbell resigned as premier and as MLA in March, less than one week after Clark was sworn in after winning the leadership of the Liberals.
Clark was an MLA for a Vancouver-area riding from 1996 to 2004, when she resigned to spend more time with her family.
Also running were Danielle Alie of B.C. First; independents William Gibbens and Eddie Petrossian; and Francoise Raunet of the Green Party of B.C.
