Nelson & District Credit Union flips the SWITCH with success
Nelson and District Credit Union (NDCU) announced that it successfully completed SWITCH, its banking system upgrade to the new Acumen™ core banking solution from Fiserv Solutions of Canada.
Nelson and District Credit Union’s legacy banking system was over a decade old, and to keep pace with changing technology and an evolving financial services industry, the Credit Union made the decision in late 2009 to start the process of upgrading to Acumen™, a next-generation banking system.
Members experienced branch and electronic service interruptions during SWITCH when the Credit Union was closed from Saturday, April 30 to Tuesday, May 3.
The organization’s three branches reopened as planned, and members were greeted by staff prepared to work with the new banking system.
