Fire undercovers marijuana grow operation in Bonnington home
A marijuana grow operation was discovered in a Bonnington mobile home Tuesday after volunteer fire fighters extinguished a fire that had destroyed the building.
The home on Whitelock Road was the site of a grow-op but no one was in the residence when the fire broke out, RCMP Staff Sgt. Dan Seibel said.
Once a search warrant was executed, police entered the home and found 120 plants and harvested marijuana bud in bags.
Sgt. Siebel said charges are being contemplated against the renters of the home.
