Transatlantic outfit 100 Mile House have found a place somewhere between Canada and England with their rootsy folk sound full of intricate harmonies, luscious strings, pounding snares and heartfelt stories of places left and found.
100 Mile House is preparing for a busy year as the rootsy husband and wife duo of Peter Stone and Denise MacKay along with multi-instrumentalist Scott Zubot release their new self-recorded album hollow ponds.
The album carries the theme of both escape from and back to the places they knew when they were young, but also brings with it the hope that comes with finding a new place to call home.
