Report of Fairview prowler brings NPD out in force

A prowler was reported to be outside a Fairview residence on Sunday night, the Nelson Police Department is reporting.
The prowler was alleged to have been carrying a camera, said NPD Sgt. Janet Scott-Pryke on Monday.
When Nelson police attended the area they immediately set up a roaming perimeter for patrol with vehicles, while foot patrols were conducted in the area.
“The prowler was not located at that time,” said Sgt. Scott-Pryke. “We would like to remind residents of Nelson to be diligent in locking your homes and reporting any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood.”
