Mallard's Team of the Week — Team B.C. Trio

Three players from the Kootenays played a big part in helping Team B.C. to a sixth-place finish at the recent 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax.
From left, team captain Ella Matteucci, Aimee DiBella and Daley Oddy, past and present members of the Kootenay Wildcats, powered Team B.C. to its best finish in three years.
Despite playing in the relegation round, Team B.C. was in every game, losing to Team Manitoba in shootout in the fifth/sixth game.
Staff and management at Mallard’s Source For Sports would like to salute the trio with Team of the Week honours.
While DiBella and Oddy get ready for B.C. Hockey Female AAA League action this weekend, Matteucci is back in Saskatchewan to finish the season playing at Notre Dame Hockey Academy.
