Hartland, Clifford Lewis

It is with great sadness in our hearts in the peaceful passing of Clifford Lewis Hartland, with his loving wife, Pat, by his side on March 8, 2023.

Cliff is the son of Charles and Isabel Hartland and brother to 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Pat, brother Bill Jemson (Shirley), son Bradley Hartland, daughter Shellee (Vince) Devito, stepson David Dukart, stepdaughter Brenda (Neill) Clarkson, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren. Cliff has a very large extended family and many friends. Cliff was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Isabel, sisters Hazel, Ruth, Rachel, Gertie, bothers George, Dennis, and 2 stepchildren, Duane Dukart, Tracy Wicklum.

Cliff was a miner, school bus driver, trucking business owner, worked for Bell maintenance, and YBR.  Cliff loved camping, fishing, and loved animals, especially his dogs and his gardens. Cliff was very active and hard working. Cliff was on City Council in Kaslo and a Kinsmen member. Cliff will be remembered for his stories and great sense of humour. He will be dearly missed.

There will be a gathering of story time about Cliff at:

  • JB Pub and Restaurant, Ainsworth on March 26, 2023 at 1 – 5 p.m.
