Grierson, Steve

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Steve Grierson on May 31, 2021 after a 10 month battle with cancer.
Steve was born in Toronto, Ontario to Jim and Bettine Grierson and has lived in Nelson BC, near Balfour, since 2000.
Steve was an avid skier and golfer and loved his gardens and the mountains. The Kootenays allowed Steve’s amazing free spirit to remain strong.
He leaves behind his sister Wendy Wargalla (Steve) and nephews Ryan Wargalla (Jasmina, Leila and Ethan) and Jeffrey Wargalla (Natasha). Also his brother David Grierson (Ivana) and nephews Jesse, Alex and Dominic Grierson and niece Crystal Grierson.
Our sincere gratitude goes out to the fabulous staff of Kootenay Lake Hospital and especially to the phenomenal Oncology team.
