Geraldine (Gerry) passed away peacefully on the morning of March 20th at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC with family at her side. Gerry was born in Cuckfield, England and came to Canada to reside in Ontario in 1945 until she was 18 years of age where she moved to Winnipeg for a short time and then on to BC.
Gerry is predeceased by her brother Joey and is survived by her brothers Chris, Garry, Jerry, George, Kevin and her sister Nancy, her children Susan (Ed Laurensen), Richard, Kelly (Calyn Buresh) and Lisa (Peter Kuhlmann) and five grandchildren Andrew, Mark, Michael, Jessica and Emma and great grandson Dylan.
Gerry will be deeply missed by her family, friends and many who knew her through her employment at the Bank of Montreal in both Nelson and Castlegar.
There will be no service at the request of Ms. Collins.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff on the 3rd Floor at KBRH for their kindness and care throughout our mother’s stay.
