Barry, Mary (Molly) Maxwell
Mary Maxwell Barry (Molly) April 20, 1921-June 15, 2015.
Molly passed away peacefully at the Pavilion Residential Care home in New Denver BC. Born in Greenock, Scotland Molly spent most of her life in Trail BC where she met & married her late husband of 50 years Cliff. Molly enjoyed travelling & had a zest for life. She was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Trail Branch. Although they did not have children, they had two “daughters “, Colleen & Kathy McCrory & spent many memorable years together. Molly was predeceased by her parents Alex & Nell Sutherland, husband Cliff in 1993 & “daughter” Colleen in 2007.
She leaves behind “daughter” Kathy (Les) as well as many cousins, the Sutherland f& McKerrell families in Scotland & England. Aunty Molly also will be missed by the Bruce & Guthrie families of Trail BC as well as special friends the LaValley family of Edmonton & the McKenzie family of Oyen AB & Karen & Dave Peterson of Trail.
To Doctors Chuck & Mike & ALL the staff, a huge thank you & hugs for the “beyond Excellence” care & TLC given to Molly over the past years. Molly requested no service, but a toast raised in her memory. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
