The transformation at Georama Growers had started.

The Grypma family has operated Georama Growers in Blewett for decades.

As a florist, garden and design centre, Georama is an iconic business that meets the area’s diverse gardening needs.

As of January, 2022, the torch has been passed, as Gurjit and Ramneet Brar took over as the new owners of Georama.

Known as Bunny and Tincy, the new owner couple ran a Creston cherry orchard for the last three years.

Originally from India, the family’s roots are in agriculture.

“Farming is in my blood and Bunny’s blood. It’s the perfect field for us,” says Tincy.

For Case Grypma, handing over the business is the beginning of the end of an era.

“We’ve been working hard 40 plus years at our family-run, second-generation business,” says Case.

“The people that made an offer and ultimately purchased our business are very family-oriented and have a very strong background in agriculture.
