Selkirk College Gala 2016 A Pure Delight

The Selkirk College Gala 2016 welcomed more than 240 guests to the Tenth Street Campus in Nelson for a wonderful Saturday evening of food, service and entertainment.
The annual event showcases the talents of students in the Professional Cook Program, Resort & Hotel Management Program and the Contemporary Music & Technology Program.
In fitting with the year-long Selkirk College 50th Anniversary celebration, the theme of this year’s Gala was “Futures Waiting” and threw a spotlight on the current students who will soon be important contributors in their fields.
The evening also acts as an important fundraising event for scholarships and bursaries which assist learners in their educational journeys.
